Take a leap

Updated: Jan 25, 2020

Creativity can be found in almost every corner in this world we live in. Humans for centuries have continually found ways to use it to further their goals as innovation seems to be the trend throughout history. That being said, creativity is still an untapped resource that alot of people are not using. Its so easy to get bogged down in the mundane and in our routines until we reach a point where we are used to normal. As an entrepreneur/business owner, that is a scary word. Normal is NOT acceptable. Things tend to stay the same when we start to settle for normal.

I believe many dreams have died because of our fear of the unknown. Think about all the greatest inventions. At some point these were all crazy and far out ideas! For example, there was a time when the idea of us walking around with a device that allows us to communicate to people all over the world in just a touch of a button was utterly unthinkable. Now you can hardly find anybody that doesn't have a cellphone. Everything is crazy in the beginning.

Personally, learning to tap into my creative side has opened so many doors for me. That is why I want to challenge you to not fall in line with the status quo. Brainstorm, think outside the box, question everything, and always be on the lookout for ways to express your own creativity. One day I asked myself do I really need a boss and a normal job to survive? The answer is obviously no now but back then it wasn't so clear. Anytime you are on the verge of something great self doubt always seems to creep in. It well tell you things like "that's too risky" or "you'll never make it on your own just get a real job". I can only imagine where I would be right now if I had listened.

Our mind is powerful. We are capable of alot more if we would just believe it! To bring it all home, if you ever feel like you are trapped in a situation or a lifestyle. More than likely you are not. There is almost always a way out. Dreams can be achieved. Goals conquered and new ones set. Leaps of faith rewarded. So go try something new. Go against the grain. It's all limitless! This thinking has changed my life and it can change yours as well.
